THE first annual Girls Night In fundraiser at Aberdeen Bowling Club on November 20 promises to be a pink ribbon event with a difference.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation fundraiser spearheaded by Aberdeen resident Jodie Mayall promises an evening of entertainment, pampering, nibbles, a fashion parade, giveaways and more.

There will be work-stations where guests can enjoy foot care, hand care, lip care and card making, along with a charity auction, lucky door prizes, music by DJs Doug and Charleen Liddell and belly-dancing.

A huge range of shopping opportunities will include cosmetics, fashions, home décor, handbags, cookware, skin care, scrapbooking, perfumes, travel goods, storage solutions, lingerie, card making, health care, kitchen products, jewellery and luggage.

The Scone Breast Cancer Support Group will provide a brief information session on the all-important topic of early detection of breast cancer and local support services.
