MUSWELLBROOK Apex Club held its 55th annual changeover dinner on Saturday night welcoming a new board for the 2009-10 year.
Apex members, past and life members and their partners gathered for the event at Eatons Hotel where the outgoing board changed over with the incoming board.
Currently there are 15 Apex members making up a very strong club.
At the dinner, the outgoing president Joel Bristow handed over the reins to Tim Troon, who was also president in 1999-2000.
Mr Troon said the Apex Club would continue to do what it had always done by donating time and funds to the community.
The club has recently completed a major project, revamping the garden at Muswellbrook District Health Service, which will be officially opened in September.
Mr Troon reminded the public that the club hires its barbecue and marquee out and always welcomes new people.
“If anyone is interested in what Apex is about and are under the age of 45 years they are welcome to call me and find out more,” he said.
The 2009-10 Apex board members are:
Tim Troon (president), Joel Bristow (outgoing president), Josh Gallagher (secretary), Clinton Jackson (treasurer), Steve Jackson (service director), and Colin Duck (social director).
