Preparations are underway for the new soccer season and organisers are on the hunt for new coaches for each of the senior sides.
Training is already underway each Tuesday and Thursday night meaning coaches are needed as soon as possible.
There are two senior mens teams, a ladies open age team and possibly an over 35s or open age mens team.
In the interim training is being lead by local players Thom Kane and Andrew Spradbrow who have come up through the junior competition.
The numbers at training have been excellent with up to 30 players in attendance on some nights and the drills have been beneficial to all players. New players are most welcome.
A meet and greet will be held on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm that will include an intra club game, followed by a barbecue and drinks. This is also registration day for the senior teams as numbers need to be finalised early so the new playing strips can be ordered.
On Sunday, February 28 teams are participating in a gala day at Kanwal on the Central Coast.
In March the club is entered in the Northern NSW State Cup which will include teams across the five divisions. The season is also about to kick off for the juniors with big numbers expected in the World Cup year.
Registrations for the travelling teams are on Sunday from 1pm to 2pm and next Sunday, February 14 from 10m to noon. These are for ages U10s –U16s inclusive and cost $125 which includes playing strip. All new players will need to bring their birth certificate.
