MUSWELLBROOK boxer Elric Biddulph has added another trophy to the cabinet, winning his most recent match-up in Newcastle earlier this month.
Biddulph said he had little time for preparation, only being asked to take part two days before the event.
As well as boxing, Biddulph also competes in Muay Thai kickboxing and trains in Tamworth with former Scone local Ben Burrage, as well as doing his own training in Muswellbrook.
This month’s fight was Biddulph’s sixth, with the points win taking his tally to five wins, one loss.
Hosted by Newcastle’s Tuff’n Up Boxing Gym, Biddulph squared off in the 63kg division against a more experienced opponent, however Burrage said the Muswellbrook boy won convincingly.
"He did really well, especially since he does the majority of his training in Muswellbrook by himself," Burrage said.
"And he took the fight on such short notice - it was only two days."
