Swimmers achieve at carnival

28 Sep, 2009 10:48 AM
SWIMMERS from the Hunter, Upper Hunter, New England and North West converged on Muswellbrook on Sunday for a short course swimming carnival.

Hosted by Muswellbrook Amateur RSL Youth Swimming Club, the event attracted 130 swimmers who among them contested more than 80 races.

A contingent of 32 Muswellbrook swimmers took to the Mt Arthur Heated pool.

The local swimmers competed well, many set personal best times and took home medals on the day.
