Trophies were presented across a range of categories, with nominees being put through their paces by a judging panel in recent weeks.
After months of nominations and voting, Muswellbrook Florist & Gifts’ Toni Apthorpe was named Muswellbrook Chronicle Employee of the Year.
“It was an incredible honour, I’m still blown away,” she said.
“I would like to thank my bosses Julia and Justin, my beautiful colleagues, Chamber of Commerce and the Muswellbrook Chronicle.
“Also the people that supported me on the journey, it’s overwhelming.”
Mrs Apthorpe won $500 and her employer won an advertising package with the Chronicle.
