And, this was great news for the Muswellbrook Rotary Annual Charity Golf Day on Sunday.
The four-person ambrose competition, in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Federation Australia, attracted a keen group of challengers.
Muswellbrook Rotarian Matthew Jeans considered the day to be a success, adding it was all for a good cause.
“We had 105 people play and beautiful weather,” he told the Chronicle.
“We had 25 millimetres of rain [on Saturday] but today it looks picture-perfect.”
Rotary members were hoping to raise about $5000 from the event and grateful for all the support they received from the community and businesses alike.
“Thanks to everyone who supported us and our major sponsors LJ Hooker, Muswellbrook,” Mr Jeans said.
