THE Muswellbrook Heelers are geared up for their most important club fixture of the rugby season when they tackle arch rivals Singleton Bulls at Singleton Rugby Park this weekend.
And, the results of both grades will have a major bearing on their respective ladders.
Civic reception greets netballers
THE netballing feats of the town’s 17 years’ representative team were officially recognised by Muswellbrook Shire Council last week.
The members of the squad, along with coach Ian Ingle, assistant Tony Deakin, manageress Michelle Lovegrove, association president Tracey Goldman and numerous parents, attended a special civic reception to acknowledge their division three title, which they captured at the Netball NSW State Championships in June.
