Muswellbrook will now tackle the Singleton Bulls in the 2014 decider next Saturday at No Sportsground, Newcastle.
Unfortunately, the club’s reserves suffered a heart-breaking 24-19 loss to Cooks Hill.
In the feature fixture, the Heelers ran in eight tries to one, with Senitika Qata and Ethan Cridland grabbing doubles.
Isaac Scholes, Morgan Collins, Lewyn Rapana and Naga Tavaga also crossed the line while Allan Johnson booted three conversions.
For Cooks Hill, Chris Reed dived over and Richard O’Connor added the extras.
In the Patron’s Shield final, the honours were shared in the tryscoring stakes, however the boot of Alexander Jenkins proved to be the difference.
The Cooks Hill sharpshooter landed three conversions and a penalty following tries to Richard Knight, Ben Prior and Stuart Flynn.
Daniel Keating, Pana Ravouvou and Matt John Turner posted five-pointers and Tate Wicks raised the flags on two occasions.
