Organising Committee member Kristie Corbett said the purpose of the event is to raise money for hall maintenance, but also to share the many uses of the hall with the community, including monthly dances and card nights.
“This is a one-off market day; our Hall Committee ran one five years ago and it was very successful,” she said.
“Let’s do it again to raise money for the Hall for general up keep and to celebrate spring in the country.”
You catch all the action between 9am and 3pm on Sunday.
The fun includes a Best Scarecrow competition, 25 market stalls, a barbecue lunch from 12pm, raffles with prizes from a range of local businesses.
To get to the markets from Muswellbrook, turn right onto Sandy Creek Road, and continue 10km.
Ms Corbett expects the day will be a great time for all.
“Join us in the country for a family fun day,” she said.
