You may need to retune your television because of changes in frequencies in the Upper Hunter happening until the end of the month.
These moves are part of a national retune program that will free up broadcasting spectrums for new services, such as mobile broadband.
After the channel frequencies have changed, viewers will need to return their digital TV, set-top box, or digital DVD recorder to find the channels that have moved.
Retuning is done using your TV's remote.
For most systems, press the "Menu" button on the remote.
Look for settings such as "Channels" or "Auto-tuning" and follow the prompts.
It should only take a few minutes and there is a video and 3-step guide to retuning, which can be found at the website address: www.australia.gov.au/retune .
Residents in Aberdeen, Denman and Muswellbrook will be affected, with retunes taking place on October 15 and October 22.
