The candy bar is stocked and the grand unveiling of the two-cinema complex is only days away.
The cinema was constructed at Muswellbrook and District Workers Club in collaboration with local businessman Micheal Rinkin.
Patrons will be able to sit back and relax, enjoy watching a 3D blockbuster in the 7.2 Dolby Surround Sound.
The cinemas are licensed and if you choose to sit in the executive seating, you will be pampered with food and drinks brought to you throughout the movie.
Muswellbrook and District Workers Club manager Scott Bailey is enthusiastic about the venture and is looking forward to its opening.
“It’s a top-notch facility,” he told the Chronicle.
“We have upgraded the car park with an extra 25 spaces.
“I think it’s great for the town.”
Muswellbrook Shire Council also contributed $650,000 to the project.
Mayor Martin Rush is excited about the new initiative, which he believes will be greatly appreciated in town.
“After 15 years of consistently topping community surveys of local government issues, it’s fantastic that we will shortly open the doors on a twin cinema in time for the Christmas school holiday period,” he said.
“The cinema will contribute to the community’s clear desire for more activity for youth and to liveability infrastructure and services in the town of Muswellbrook.”
The venue will host a VIP?event tomorrow evening.
Then, the cinema will be open to the public on Boxing Day, screening Peter Jackson’s epic The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Big Hero 6 and Horrible Bosses 2.
