Muswellbrook Netball Association vice-president Rebecca Gumb said the teams had shown promising form ahead of the tournament.
“We’re really excited to see all four teams compete; they have been strong at every carnival this year so it bodes well for the championships,” she said.
The under-12s have won all three carnivals at Singleton, Muswellbrook and Lakeside, while the 13s are looking to improve on last year’s fifth place.
They have claimed victories at Dubbo, Newcastle and Cessnock so far this season.
The under-14s are also expected to be highly competitive throughout a gruelling schedule of 20 games in three days.
Bree Hurst, Georgia Chick, Mikayla Brown, Kate Lloyd, Jacinta Ballard, Sophie Martin, Charlee Schmierer and Skylar Dever make up the talented outfit.
Under-15s coach Gumb said her team had gone through a lengthy preparation for their final year in the championships.
“They’ve been getting ready for this since November last year and competed really well in state league,” she said.
“We’ve had a couple of niggling injuries but everyone is well on their way now.
“Our side has a very fast attack with a high shooting percentage, and our defensive end is strong as well.
“So we’re really looking to show the other teams what we can do.”
