Muswellbrook Police are appealing for public assistance following discovery of the malicious damage incident this week.
Officers said somewhere between Monday, September 14 and Wednesday, September 30 offenders accessed the canteen in the grounds of Olympic Park, on the corner of Victoria and Bell Streets, near the railway line.
Once inside, police said the offenders sprayed sauce all over the refrigerators before releasing the contents of a fire extinguisher in one of the change rooms.
Police described the acts as “vandalism for no reason.”
Officers are urging anyone who thinks they may have information concerning the damage to the Olympic Park precinct to contact them on 02 6542 6999.
