Local artist Andrew Davis visited the school last Wednesday to lead the pupils in painting a mural.
The Hope Heroes standee will be on display at the Muswellbrook event on Thursday, December 3.
“Hope Heroes are about not being held back by disabilities, or other difficulties in your life, having a positive attitude, and always being the best you can be,” Mr Davis said.
This week he visited St James’ Primary School to continue the Hope Heroes workshops.
The International Disability Day fun will be at Lake Liddell Recreation Area, 400 Hebden Road, Muswellbrook, from 10am to 2pm.
Activities on offer include laser tag, rock climbing, rock painting, and African drumming.
There will also be a sausage sizzle with drinks available for lunch.
