For around five years, the Muswellbrook resident has been delivering Meals on Wheels to people in Scone.
On the second and third Thursday of every month, Mr Pemberton has been doing his bit to help without fail.
He said he enjoyed a number of aspects of the job, which takes him a few hours per day.
These include being able to go out and about during the day, and also having the opportunity to socialise with the people he delivers to.
As well as his food deliveries, Mr Pemberton makes regular visits to Mt Providence to visit residents, and assists with the Bengalla lunch run.
Endeavour regional coordinator Sally Pereira said Mr Pemberton had a great attitude towards the role.
“He never complains about going to Meals on Wheels, Mt Providence visits and Bengalla meal deliveries,” she said.
“Kyle is amazing, honestly, with the stuff he does; we don’t recognise it enough.
“He is passionate about wanting to help people.”
