That’s if Saturday night’s inaugural function is anything to go by.
A big crowd, which was dressed to impress, turned up to support the local fundraiser at the Muswellbrook RSL Club.
Muswellbrook Relay for Life committee chairperson Taya Elphinstone was delighted with the response.
“We haven’t hosted a ball before, so we had our fingers crossed,” she said.
“But, we’re expecting about 120 people tonight.
“I’m very happy with that [number].
“It’s a fitting way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the event in Muswellbrook.
“And, we’ve got some terrific auction items, too.
“I’m sure everyone will have a great night.”
The Muswellbrook Relay for Life will take place at the Weeraman Sporting Fields on Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25.
The committee is hoping to raise more money in 2016 than previous years.
