Managing director Jo Bailey and her caring and knowledgeable staff are proud that as a small independent operator, Quality Care has grown rapidly while ensuring that their care and services are delivered in a timely, professional and courteous manner with a genuine understanding of the term ‘customer service’.
“Our business vision is to ensure that the care and services delivered enhance the lives of those who receive them,” Mrs Bailey said.
Quality Care has been operating for over 12 years. Primarily utilised by older Australians and their families requiring respite care in the early years, Quality Care has evolved in line with community trends and demographic patterns and now works closely with a broad range of both health and other professional service providers.
“In response to the increasing demand, we are now providing home care services throughout the Hunter Valley, the Central Coast both the Northern and Eastern suburbs of Sydney,” Mrs Bailey said.
“That includes 24-hour care, in-home or host family respite, child care, supervised access, assistance with daily chores, home maintenance and gardening, transport meals and nursing.”
Quality Care takes pride in it’s ability to adapt to service needs, and Mrs Bailey believes the assisted living facility Allcroft House, at Scone, is the perfect example.
“Allcroft House fills that growing gap between living at home and moving into aged care,” Mrs Bailey.
“Often the timing is not quite right. At Allcroft House you are provided with the security of having someone to call on 24 hours a day; someone to give you a helping hand with personal care; have all your meals provided and your washing and cleaning attended to and you come and go as you like.
‘It’s nice to have all those services on hand 24 hours a day, as opposed to services coming in at varying times.
"Allcroft offers all that with beautifully appointed private suites, shared dining, lounge and library areas, set within established manicured gardens."
Quality Care is also a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme provider and can assist in all areas of NDIS including accommodation/tenancy, assessment of skills, abilities and needs, daily personal activities, travel and transport, group or shared living arrangement, life skills, wellbeing activitiesc, community nursing care for high care needs and much more.
