After the disappointment of last season’s Hunter Valley Group 21 Rugby League final, the club is determined to go all the way this year.
Eventual premiers Scone Thoroughbreds eliminated the Tigers in a “golden point” thriller – and then overcame the Muswellbrook Rams to clinch the title.
That lost opportunity will spur on captain-coach Trent Walker and his Aberdeen charges when the competition kicks off in a couple of months.
In the meantime, the Tigers are hitting the training paddock to ensure they’re in peak physical condition.
And, nothing, not even the heat, will stop them.
