Having worked for many years in the business of delivering a range of care services at a very high standard, Jo Bailey is very clear about the fact that if your clients can not completely trust that you will deliver on what you say, it is ‘game over’.
As the Managing Director of Quality Care, a Hunter Valley based family business that has built a reputation for excellence, Jo and her team are focused on the relationships they build with every client.
Jo says that an important part of the relationship between client and provider is having a familiar face that they can trust available to the client at all times.
Quality Care has been delivering Home Care services for many years but, with the current changes to how that system works, Jo recognised that this is an area of service that will certainly grow.
In response to this fact, Jo set about recruiting an appropriately skilled and experienced person to coordinate this arm of the business.
In an attempt to keep it simple, the changes we are referring to is the fact that as of February 27 this year, anyone who has a home care package will be able to choose themselves as to which organisation delivers that package to them.
The packages are no longer held by a particular organisation; you get to choose.
Marlene Auld has recently been appointed as Home Care Services Coordinator for Quality Care.
Marlene is well known to many older people in the community through her long association with the delivery of Home Care packages, and is very excited about getting back into an area that she genuinely loves.
To assist those that are interested in gaining a greater insight into how things work with your home care package, and to find out what other services are available, Quality Care will be hosting a morning tea and “Open Day” on Tuesday, March 7 in the historic Campbells Corner building in Scone.
