Upper Hunter Country Tourism and Muswellbrook Shire Council are partnering on a new initiative called Growing Local Tourism Talent.
It will introduce participants to the local opportunities that tourism has to offer, as well as a part-qualification, work experience with a local business, and exposure to tourism activity and opportunities across the Upper Hunter.
This course is also for anyone who has thought about starting a tourism or hospitality business.
The information session, on Tuesday, February 28, from 11am, will explain the Growing Local Tourism Talent program and provide further information about work opportunities in the tourism industry and local study options.
For more information and expressions of interest, contact Muswellbrook Shire Council’s community services manager Carolyn O’Brien on 0409 228 879.
