However, the business has also been looking beyond its initial leisure purposes for opportunities to help the community.
In the coming months, local sporting clubs, charities, and groups will be able to apply for a fundraising event spot.
Muswellbrook Cinema owner Micheal Rinkin said 30 dates would be available where the committees of not-for-profit could host an event for their members, courtesy of the Rinkin Group of Companies.
Groups can choose from the movies on offer that week, and present a screening.
The hire of the cinema would be given to groups at no charge, and they could sell tickets at a price they choose, to raise up to $3000.
The Upper Hunter teams could collectively be up to $90,000 richer, thanks to the program.
The events would be on Monday nights, when the cinema would not normally be trading.
