Thirteen-year-old Joseph Hamson, Isaak Small, 14, and Alice Small, 11, who currently represent the Singleton Amateur Swimming Club, contested the three-day 2017 NSW Country Swimming Championships at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre (SOPAC) from February 24 to 26.
The trio left the meet extremely proud of their results.
Hamson and Small competed together as part of both the men’s 13-14 years’ 200m freestyle and medley relay teams.
Both of these squads placed third.
Alice Small competed in both the women’s 12 years and under 200m freestyle and medley relay, where the team placed 11th in each discipline.
Hamson, who recently accepted a swimming scholarship at Knox Grammar School, gained a qualifying time in the 100m butterfly for the upcoming national titles that will be held in Brisbane between April 16 and 23.
