2GB’s Ray Hadley hosted his Morning Show from the Muswellbrook Race Club to promote The Country Championships on Sunday.

It wasn’t the first time he had been in town.

Mr Hadley has previously called football games and greyhound races in the area.

He most recently came to the region for the Rise for Alex fundraiser in Aberdeen; and his weekend program with the Continuous Call Team ventured to the Upper Hunter Show at Muswellbrook.

Mr Hadley’s Morning Show is the second high-profile program to appear at the local race club in the past six months, following the Big Sports Breakfast last November.
