Two men stopped in for coffee at Suspension Espresso – with their pet sheep in tow. The cafe has always welcomed dogs, but can now add sheep to its clientele.
Owner Chris Johnston said he hadn’t seen anything like it in the 12 years they’ve been in business, but the cafe was happy to accommodate it.
“That sheep can come back anytime, there’s plenty of room. Bring your cattle down, bring your donkey, we’ll take it all,” he said.
Mr Johnston said everyone seemed to enjoy the surprise visit, and the unusual scene had cars tooting their horns as they drove by.
“The kids loved it and everyone was patting it as they went by,” Mr Johnston said. “Someone even fetched it some grass to eat.”
