ABOUT 3am on Sunday, April 23, Muswellbrook Police attended a service station on Maitland Street in relation to a 32-year-old man being abusive and displaying a threatening/intimidating behaviour to an employee.

Due to his behaviour, police asked the male to leave the premises several times, which he refused.
He continued to display an aggressive and abusive demeanour refusing to leave the premises.
After a short struggle, the man was arrested and conveyed to Muswellbrook Police Station where he continued to be abusive and display an aggressive nature.
He was charged with numerous offences including assault police, resist arrest and continue intoxicated behaviour after move on direction.
The man will appear at Muswellbrook Local Court on May 1.
Muswellbrook premises maliciously damaged
THREE premises were subject to malicious damage overnight on Saturday in Sydney Street, Muswellbrook.
Unknown offender/s damaged windows at all locations by unknown means causing them to smash.

Cannabis found on woman
ABOUT 11.30pm on Thursday, April 20, police had cause to stop a Holden Rodeo on Lexia Street, Muswellbrook.
Officers identified a 19-year-old Aberdeen woman driving the vehicle.
After a conversation with police, the woman and her vehicle were subjected to a search where an amount of cannabis was located in a handbag.
She was issued a field can attendance notice for possess prohibited drug and will appear in Muswellbrook Local Court in the near future.
