After a good-sized crowd turned up for the Dawn Service at Memorial Park on Tuesday, between 400 and 500 people converged on the same location for the main ceremony, wreath-laying and The Last Post.
Some locals commented they hadn’t seen the street so busy on Anzac Day for many a year.
Serving and ex-service personnel, Scouts and school groups came together as one, while the Denman Lions and Rotary clubs were also kept busy providing the breakfasts and lunches.
