After four weeks of renovation, the fast food restaurant’s dining room reopened to the public on Saturday.
Owner Phil Wilson said the project finished on time.
“Basically everything is new,” he said.
“There is a new McCafé, a new front counter, and new digital media.”
Those sitting down to enjoy their meal will notice modern-style booths and new furniture, while those on the go will see the improved look of the new ceiling and floor.
Mr Wilson said the increased efficiency of McCafé would be a highlight.
“We bought an extra machine, so we’ve got three machines now,” he said.
“And, there’s a new beverage sell [near front counter].”
But, while most of the work is complete, the excitement isn’t over.
“The key thing would probably be the PlayLand that goes in this week, completed on Friday,” Mr Wilson said.
“It’s going to be about 8.5 metres tall; brand new, bright colours, new soft play, and a new fence around it.
“It’s going to be good.”
Mr Wilson said the store still enjoyed good patronage during the interior’s renovation, with more than 1000 cars visiting drive-thru daily.
Now, he is encouraging locals and visitors to venture indoors and see what the team have been up to.
“Come on down and have a look,” he said.
“The residents of Muswellbrook have been saying to me for a long time ‘when are you going to do something?’
“The store hasn’t really been touched since 1989, and this is the major renovation we’ve had.
“So, I’m hoping the residents of Muswellbrook will be really happy.”
