It all started with a lovely afternoon tea for the families and even the principal, Aaron Moon, got in the spirit by making all of the dads a Nespresso coffee.
“We then gathered in the school hall for a special Liturgy where we thanked God for the gift of fathers,” he said.
“Our kindergarten class also sang a song to show how much they ‘Heart’ their dads.”
To finish the afternoon of celebrations, the gloves came off for the sixth annual SJD Paper Plane Challenge.
“The scrutineer was out in force, but all planes met the stringent aviation requirements,” Mr Moon said.
“A challenging swirling wind met the competitors, however, a great afternoon was had by all.”
