The information sessions will take place at Loxton House on Sunday and Monday, both from 10am.
“Meet like-minded people who are passionate about the outdoors, preserving native habitat and shared community spaces,” CVA Muswellbrook regional manager Ellie Gillett said.
“It is also a chance to discover the social and environmental opportunities of volunteering, as well as share your feedback about what you would like to achieve in our area.
“Morning tea will be provided, but we need to know numbers for catering purposes.”
Ms Gillett said volunteering with CVA was a rewarding outdoor experience, performing hands-on activities while staying active.
“Our assorted projects are fantastic for a range of age groups and abilities,” she explained.
“You can volunteer for a few hours, one day or even more – whatever suits you.
“Activities include bushwalking, tree planting, mulching, seed collection, weed removal, environmental education training or wildlife surveys.”
