And, all the action will take place at the Denman Recreation Ground on Saturday from noon.
The popular event is raising much-needed funds for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (WRHS).
“Last year was a fantastic success – and we amassed $20,000,” WRHS Denman Support Group secretary Merry Freeman said.
“I’d love to see 2000 people come through the gates [this weekend].
“Hopefully, the weather gods will smile down on us.”
Australian Thoroughbred Racing Pigs take centre stage, thanks to breeder Kevin Kiley, who also doubles as the race caller.
“We’ll have a calcultta on the day, featuring seven races in total, with the winner of each receiving half of the pool, with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service pocketing the rest,” Mrs Freeman said.
“There’ll be a sweep on every race, too.
“It’s something new, entertaining and a fun way to raise money.”
The race consists of an obstacle course, enclosed within a fenced area with hay bales, tyres, trigger gates and ramps, which the pigs negotiate dressed in their brightly-coloured jackets proudly displaying their sponsor’s name.
“The winning pig is the first to put its snout in the trough of milk at the finish line,” Mrs Freeman said.
“People who attend the day will have an absolute ball.
“It’s going to be a great fun event for all ages.
“Bring your chairs and picnic blankets.”
There will be other attractions such as market stalls, free rides for the children including laser tag, jumping castle and tea cup ride, classic and vintage car display, plenty of food and drinks with a bar available.
Gates open from 10am.
Cost of entry is $10 per adult and $5 for children.
