More than 400 entries ensured the event was another major success, especially after the disappointment of 2016’s postponement due to the weather.
Riders, from juniors to experienced campaigners, vied for $20,000 in prizemoney, while local not-for-profit organisation Where There’s A Will was this year’s beneficiary.
The rodeo began at noon on Saturday, with the main program later that evening.
Sunday’s action featured a jackpot round.
“It’s the first time we’ve hosted that in more than a decade,” Brad Singleton said.
“It encourages competitors to stay [in town] overnight and enjoy our upgraded facilities.”
