And, the Denman Evening VIEW Club celebrated its 30th birthday in style at the historical Balmoral Homestead at Muswellbrook at the weekend.
Sixty guests travelled from afar, as well as members from the past, locals and visitors from other similar organisations.
Publicity officer Jeanette Travers said it was a terrific occasion.
“The Denman Evening VIEW Club members were delighted with the afternoon,” she explained.
“Locals Kim Johnson, Susan Perfrement, Sue Pritchard and Margaret Benjamin received their 30-year badges from National Councillor NA Zone Anne-Louise O'Connor.
“They also cut the birthday cake.
“Past members who attended included Sue Hendry, Barbara Simpson, Anita Duggan, Bev Barry, Fran Pool, Kylie Hamilton, Robyn Sampson and Di Vincent.
“The High Tea was superb from finger food and the most delicious dainty cakes, slices and chocolates.
“I don’t think anyone left disappointed.”
