Full job description

Your New Role:

With the rapid expansion of Newcastle and surrounding regions there is a high volume of roles currently being finalised / or going through approvals.

As a Facility Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the operations and strategic planning of the site. This will include the service of works, maintenance, staff training and other clinical management in line with legal quality standards.

You will contribute to the development and monitoring of budget plans that will align with agreed KPIs, ensure the facility meets all governance requirements and continue to mentor and upskill staff in order to create a high performing, high morale team.

Roles that become available will also require you to create and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as families, local community, government departments, allied health representative and more.

What You'll Need To Succeed:

  • Demonstrate managerial experience in relevant industry - whether that is NFP or Private.
  • Sound clinical and operational knowledge and ensure the facility meets all governance requirements.
  • Previous experience in Facility Management or Service Management roles.
  • Working experience managing multidisciplinary teams in residential care.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with management and stakeholders.
