Labourer / Edge Protection Installer

This role is labour intensive and involves installing and dismantling Edge Protection on roofs on residential buildings.Edge Protect Australia is family owned and we run business so all employees are treated with respect and care. JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• The successful applicant is required to Work at Heights and therefore the appreciation of Safety Awareness is paramount;
• This role involves hand / manual loading of trucks of steel posts (1m to 6m steel rails);
• The successful applicant will be required to transport / drive the truck to job site;
• The successful applicant is required to manually unload truck to install fall protection to areas required on building, or dismantling fall protection and manual load onto the truck;
• Due to the physical nature of the role, the successful applicant must be reasonably fit and self motivated;
• A non smoker would be preferred;

 SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• White Card required;
• Working at Heights Ticket required;
• Valid Driver's License and ability to drive a manual vehicle is essential (HR license would be beneficial);
• Own transport to travel to and from work is essential;
• Scaffolders Ticket would be beneficial but not necessary.
