The Narromine Men's Shed have received some support from the local Commonwealth Bank as part of a nation-wide community donation program. The Commonwealth Bank Narromine branch donated $500 to the community group who are valuable to the town. "Among all of the ways they make an impact on the community we see the safe place they have created for blokes to just gather and chat as addressing a real need...their service is highly valuable, so it's a privilege to be able to support them in this great work," said Commonwealth Bank Narromine Branch Manager Sabrina Lowe. Commonwealth Bank again pledged to donate $500,000 nationally over the next few months, to recognise organisations that make a difference in the communities in which we live and work. Each Commonwealth Bank branch and customer-facing team has been allocated $500 to donate to causes important to their local community. "After a challenging start to the year with devastating bushfires and now the coronavirus pandemic, it's timely to give back to local organisations who do good work in our community, and we are pleased to support the Narromine Men's Shed," Ms Lowe said.
