TAFE NSW will be on show in Muswellbrook later this month, as part of the learning organisation’s statewide Open Week.
Open Week will occur at 130 TAFE NSW locations across the state from June 19 to 24, collectively highlighting the facilities, course offerings, employer partnerships, and much more.
It aims to give opportunity for one-on-one course advice, and meetings with teachers and past graduates from local TAFE NSW campuses to discuss training opportunities.
Each place will feature live demonstrations and interactive signature events, including the two Muswellbrook locations.
Whether you are looking for a career you love, skills to score a promotion at work, or a vocation change, TAFE NSW offers more than 1,200 on-campus and online courses, providing flexibility that allows students to balance their study, work and family commitments.
During Open Week, TAFE NSW, Muswellbrook will host information sessions for all Semester 2 courses from June 19 to 22, with a range of highlight events.
On Tuesday, June 20, at Muswellbrook Tertiary Education Centre, there will be beauty therapy demonstrations covering massage, make-up and nail services at 9 to 10am and 12pm to 2pm; and a tour of the Muswellbrook Tertiary Education Centre from 1pm to 2pm.
On the same day, there will also be events at Muswellbrook Campus, including a automotive trade demonstration from 9am to 9.45am; a crane and forklift trade demonstration from 9.45am to 10.45am; a metal fabrication trade demonstration from 11am to 11.45am; a fitting and machining trade demonstration from 11.45am to 12.30pm; an electrical trade demonstration from 1pm to 1:45pm; and, a Muswellbrook campus tour, from 1.45pm to 2.15pm.
