The local organisation, which enjoyed success in 2013, will vie with Moruya Jockey Club, Murrumbidgee Turf Club and Wellington Jockey Club for the crown.
“It’s nice recognition for our hard-working staff and board of directors,” general manager Duane Dowell said.
“We should be justifiably proud of what we have achieved during the last racing season, including significant growth from our Muswellbrook Cup Day, continued focus on community involvement and a great vision for the future through our strategic plan.”
The 2017 Country and Provincial Racing Awards function is to take place at the Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney, on Friday, September 29.
