The Muswellbrook Rams Senior Rugby League Football Club celebrated another great year at the Muswellbrook Golf Club on Saturday evening.
The Reg Osbourne Player of the Year went to Dylan Thorne, who was also crowned as the Group 21 Player of the Year.
Daniel Ellis took home the Rookie of the Year award, and Bailey Taylor was named the Ram with the Biggest Heart.
The League Tag honours were awarded as follows: Highest Point Scorer – Shae Pemberton (118 points); Most Consistent – Shae Pemberton; Most Improved - Bronte Collins; Best and Fairest – Cressa Harris; Players Player – Harmony Liddell; and Player of the Year - Harmony Liddell.
Reserve Grade honours were awarded as follows: Highest Point Scorer – Hayden Fox (82 Points); Most Consistent – Luke Cameron; Most Improved – Callum Strauchan; Best and Fairest – Taylor Holland-Wright; Players Player – Taylor Holland-Wright.
Guest speaker, former National Rugby League player Rickey Walford, provided an inspirational speech for those present.
A crowd of 170 players, sponsors and supporters filled the club to congratulate those who made the 2017 the best it could be.
