And, that is exactly what happened at the Muswellbrook Seniors Expo on Monday, according to TransCare promotions officer Jemma Anshaw.
“As we were walking around talking to the different groups who took part, everyone was commenting about how much they were getting out of the day,” she said.
“We had 25 stalls set up with a range of information – everything from service providers and insurance information, to community and support groups.
“The support from the vendors is what makes or breaks an event like this, so we are grateful for the quality of all our displays.”
The community also got behind the event, which is the first of its kind run by TransCare in Muswellbrook, with about 80 people visiting the Muswellbrook RSL Club Auditorium.
“With this kind of support we’re keen to make it an annual event for sure,” Ms Anshaw said.
“It was a great morning and we are looking forward to building on it in the future.”
TransCare Hunter Ltd would like to thank everyone who supported the event, including the Muswellbrook RSL Club for being so accommodating.
