A HEALTHY crowd descended upon Victoria Park for the inaugural Have A Go in the Brook on Friday evening.
Hosted by Ability Links, the Muswellbrook event showcased a number of sports and activities from dance, roller derby, Little Athletics, netball, tennis and Zumba, right through to the Upper Hunter Conservatorium of Music and Lions and CWA clubs.
And, the theme, Connect, Collaborate and Celebrate, certainly hit the mark.
More than 20 groups and stallholders also featured market goods and food – all homemade or homegrown.
The evening wrapped up with a screening of the family hit, Smurfs – The Lost Village, on the outdoor cinema.
