In spite of the inclement weather, the local contingent made its mark against the likes of Singleton, Greta Branxton, Scone, Merriwa and the hosts.
“Despite the afternoon Hunter Valley drizzle, our dedicated swimmers had an outstanding day in the lanes last Saturday,” Muswellbrook Amateur RSL Youth Swimming Club president Russell Hartin said.
“Our Swimming NSW representatives were always going to get wet anyway.
“So, we took a team to the annual Denman Swimming Club Intertown carnival with great success – they are reliably such wonderful hosts.
“Our kids registered great times, broke some personal best records and were awarded plenty of ribbons.
“There were smiles, laughs and fun times along the way.
“We are proud of every one of our swimmers.
“With massive numbers registered at the Muswellbrook Amateur RSL Youth Swimming Club, the development of our youngsters sees them bettering themselves and gaining confidence and skills each week.”
