He even took to the stage for a dance at the third annual event, hosted by the local radio station’s announcers Nix and Stolzy.
The Spectacular featured the performance of a children’s choir led by the Upper Hunter Conservatorium’s Adam Wills and made up of local primary school students from Sandy Hollow, Denman, Aberdeen and Muswellbrook who had spent weeks preparing.
There were also local singers and dance groups and a band complete with bagpipes.
While traffic movement was a slow affair into the racetrack, there was plenty of entertainment and many interesting stall holders for attendees to peruse, as well as fairy floss, face painting and local goods.
