There were four colour stations manned by P&C volunteers throwing colour with plenty of sprinklers and water pistols on the go. As a side note, lots of water helps the colour to stick.
MSPS P&C fundraising coordinator Alison Bradstreet said the colour run was the P&C’s way of giving back to the school.
“There were lots of smiles and the teachers got involved,” she said.
“We had a good year and it was a way of thanking the teachers and students for supporting the P&C.
“We also celebrated the Year 6s leaving with a group photo which was fun.
“It was a good way of showing people the P&C is a good thing to be involved with.”
Mrs Bradstreet encouraged parents to become involved with their P&Cs and shared a little advice.
“We’re a small group and we’re always looking for more members,” she said.
“People seem to be unsure of going to meetings, just go to your first one, take the plunge, your level of involvement is up to you, as much or as little as you can fit in.”
