The crew met paramedics at the location to transport a patient – a 56-year-old woman who was trampled on by a horse in Muswellbrook.
The woman suffered lower leg and head injuries.
She was treated by paramedics and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter’s medical team, before being flown to John Hunter Hospital in a reported stable condition.
