TransCare domestic staff can help with all the cleaning around the home to support your comfort and allow you to feel at ease. The same goes for Transcare’s personal care services, like showering. Transcare’s friendly and qualified staff are there to complement your efforts to make life a little bit easier.
Their social support services are about getting the most out of every day. TransCare hold a monthly social group in Scone called TransClub and monthly luncheons in Scone and Muswellbrook called Wheels to Meals that help individuals get out and about. TeleCare is a daily phone call from a volunteer to check everything is alright for clients living on their own. Cooking is something that can become a hassle as mobility reduces and the home falls quiet – but ordering Meals on Wheels can stock up your freezer with nutritious meals ready to heat and eat.
TransCare are also able to help with grocery shopping, either assisting you to go to the shops or getting your shopping to you. Their home maintenance program is able to help you get odd jobs around the yard done with ease to keep your home up to scratch.
TransCare offer a variety of transport services for people needing assistance – to appointments, the shops, to catch up with friends, community bus services, including a Tamworth run and social trips.
They are also part of the Cancer Councils Transport to Treatment program which offers free transport to cancer treatment.
