The Black Diamond Plate side made it two wins from as many starts with a comprehensive 14.14.98 to 1.5.11 victory over the Saints.
The Cats set up the triumph on the back of a seven-goal opening quarter and never looked back.
Jayden Galvin (5) and Sam White (4) combined for nine of Muswellbrook’s 14 goals in a terrific performance up front, while the defence was miserly only allowing the home side a solitary major.
The Cats best players were Jeremy Smith, Mason Solly, Jedd Stojakovic and Galvin.
Muswellbrook 7.4, 10.4, 14.9, 14.14 (98)

After recording their first win of the year in round one, the Cats women’s side found Maitland a much tougher proposition, losing 14.14.98 to 0.2.2.
