The free school holiday event, which takes you on a journey filled with interesting, weird and wonderful creatures, plus a ton of fun, returns this Tuesday and Thursday.
So, you can still embrace your inner scientist and unlock the mysterious world of creatures with Muswellbrook Shire Council’s Sustainability Team and the Australian Museum.
The sessions, suitable for youngsters aged five to 13, take place over two hours.
“We had about 50 people on Tuesday, and another 30 on Thursday, so we were happy with the response,” council’s sustainability officer Mick Brady said.
“We’ve got some very interesting objects from the Australian Museum, such as preserved insects, an echidna and flying fox.
“We hope the kids will learn about sustainability and have fun, too.”
Join in at the Muswellbrook Marketplace on:
· Tuesday, April 24 (10am to noon)
