The Al Maher mare made it back-to-back victories following last start success at Quirindi in its previous outing.
The mare has had six runs on her home track but had been unplaced until now.
Schmetzer praised the ride by jockey Shaun Guymer.
“Shaun gave her a peach of a ride and she got the job done,” he said.
“It was a good win the other day.
“She got held up to the 150m and then knuckled down and got the job done.
“She put her head down when it counted.”
Schmetzer said he had been confident that the track conditions would suit the mare.
“She likes a soft track even though her form doesn’t read like that,” he explained.
“She’s won two on the soft so I knew she would appreciate it today.
“That was always going to be in her favour and she’s rock hard fit.”
Sister Joy ($6.50) beat Kelsha Begs ($4.60) from the Alan Smith stable, with rank outsider Bay Truffle ($101), two lengths behind in third.
