Gifting money to Where there's a Will, Warrior Disability Services and integratedliving Australia, the formal occasion celebrated its fifth year with an earning of just shy of $16,000.
Organiser Grant Jupe said he was thrilled with the success of the soiree – and hopes it will only grow stronger heading into the future.
“It was our biggest ball yet,” he explained.
“We had about 120 people in the room and everyone had a fantastic night.
“The band was excellent and we had a big charity auction, which went really well.
“The [Muswellbrook] Rotary Club is hoping to make this an annual event for us, so we look to continue it going forward.
“It’s gotten bigger and bigger every year so far.
“And, hopefully, 2019 will be even bigger than this year.”
Mr Jupe said the organisers were happy with the sponsored charities.
“We’ll review the selections before it rolls around again in 12 months’ time, welcoming other community groups to come forward and help,” he added.
The event, which cost $100 a ticket and provided a three-course meal, is becoming a must-attend function in Muswellbrook and will only become more popular after a prosperous 2018.
